I started reading Show Your Work by Austen Kleon. In the first 8% of the book, the call to action pushes 1) sharing and 2) embracing amateur work.

Check and check. Moving forward, I won’t be seeking to play dad. I’m going to seek consistency and let the rest fall in place… or pieces. Let’s see what the remaining 92% of the book suggests.

In other news, I started season two of Doom Patrol on HBOMax tonight. Season one was weird.

Good, but weird. Season two carries the torch. The little known property only displays DC Comics roots with the recasting of Cyborg. Other characters include:

– A girl with 64 personalities each with their own superpower
– A burned up fighter pilot hosting an electric spirit with a penchant for his host’s past
– A former movie star with serious blob vibes
– Brendan Frasier but a robot, seriously

This is what I watch now when the house sleeps… atleast for another 10 episodes until I need to find something new.
