Finished: 48 Laws and a billion examples

I finished The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene yesterday.

It took a few months. I originally intended to read a law (chapter) everyday for a month and a half. The chapters, each which share a law through a series of examples, were dense. The author provided multiple examples of how each law had been followed or ignored. Robert Greene often interrupted his lengthy examples with allegories and analogies. I found those interruptions jarring, and ended up reading the chapters and returning to the allegories after chapter completion.

I enjoyed how each chapter (law) ended with a reversal or instance of when to ignore the advice, because you should always follow a rule until you shouldn’t.

Overall the book and style was a bit Machiavellian for a 5-star recommendation, but there are a ton of lessons to be taken away without becoming a manipulative a$$hole.

I have noticed that online degree is getting well-liked because attaining your degree online has turned into a popular option for many people. A lot of people have not had a possibility to attend a regular college or university but seek the raised earning possibilities and a better job that a Bachelor Degree provides. Still some others might have a degree in one field but wish to pursue some thing they now develop an interest in.

Thanks for your valuable post. Over time, I have been able to understand that the actual symptoms of mesothelioma cancer are caused by your build up of fluid involving the lining of your lung and the torso cavity. The infection may start from the chest area and pass on to other limbs. Other symptoms of pleural mesothelioma include fat reduction, severe respiration trouble, temperature, difficulty taking in food, and swelling of the face and neck areas. It needs to be noted that some people with the disease tend not to experience virtually any serious indicators at all.
