I delayed this week’s post by a day, just so I could note that #chuck hit four months old. It’s been an interesting month.

I thought that 3 months would be the magical time when the baby calmed down and became the sweet bundle of joy everyone told me about. It’s been four months and she’s still as surly as ever…

But in the past month she pulled a Skynet and became sentient. Her level of perception and recognition went through the roof. She smiled and seems on the verge of laughter.

Of course she still screams at me when I get home from work, once we get back into a groove she chitter chatters as long as I will listen or until she loses interest.

Can’t believe how far we’ve come, and it’s unfathomable how far we’ve got to go.
